National Marina Day!

New General Manager at Saylorville

Saylorville Lake Marina is excited to announce Bryan Plante as the new General Manager. Prior to starting at Saylorville Lake Marina, Bryan graduated from Mount Mercy College. He then relocated to Los Angeles, where he entered the Marina industry. During his 9 year stay in California he managed two different marinas in Marina del Rey, and received his U.S.C.G captains license.

Bryan grew up boating on the lakes of Wisconsin and Northeast Iowa, and after having their second son decided with his wife, Megan, that it was time to move back to the Midwest to raise their two boys. Bryan and his family currently live in West Des Moines, IA.

Dock Construction Project

The 800 dock roof project is moving along. The roof that is being added to slips 838-856 is scheduled to be completed by Monday April 3rd. If you have a slip in this area and want to launch this weekend please contact the marina beforehand and we will assign you a covered slip for the weekend.

The 300 and 700 dock have been moved. We have been a little behind schedule due to the winds and rain this week so the electric will not be hooked back up for these slips until next week of April 3rd. You can use the slips on these docks this weekend.

The 200 dock roof project will begin next week. The estimated completion is 2 weeks.
